Welcome back to everyone!  We have all had a great week back and are looking forward to the new Spring Term.

Headteacher’s Award – This week the Class 2 award goes to Ted – for a great start to the new term.  The Class 1 award goes to Otto – for a brilliant start at KB!  Congratulations to both of you!

Everyone will get a session of Forest School each Friday, not a full afternoon but the children have all been very enthusiastic and are now keeping journals.  Those not outside are doing ICT or music – there is some lovely singing coming from the classroom.

We have a new dinner lady, Mrs Morrison, who started on Tuesday.  She will be helping Mrs Feakins at TW to prepare the lunches and then bringing them here to serve them.  She has been very impressed so far with the children’s lunchtime organisation and their lovely manners!

We also welcome Mrs Flintoft who is out new Office Manager across all 3 schools.  Her main base will be at KB and will be in the office Tuesday Morning and all day Thursday.  I will be here Wednesday morning and Friday afternoon but as you know, I am available all day on the school e-mail admin@kellbank.n-yorks.sch.uk, so just shout if you need anything!

**Full details of all the trips and other“Dates for Diaries” will follow on Monday – I have spent the afternoon updating it until April and have now lost them on the computer! Sorry!

After School clubs will start again next Tuesday – full details and times are attached.**

Marvellous Mondays start next week – on 14th Jan. The children will be transported to STW at 9am prompt in either the mini-bus or staff cars.  Reception and Y1 will go to Snape with Miss Hunt and Ms Beswick. Please can Y1/2 bring their forest schools kit with them on Monday for an afternoon forest school session. Y1 pupils will be brought to TW from Snape after lunch on the school minibus.
